A Multilingual Literary Oasis

At EFIP, reading is encouraged from the youngest age, with children in kindergarten visiting the library regularly. The EFIP library provides students with a diverse collection of materials in French, English, and Albanian, ranging from magazines and novels to poetry and comic books. This vast selection caters to different interests and academic needs, ensuring every student finds something to spark their curiosity and enhance their learning. Students have the privilege of borrowing books to take home, which not only enriches their personal development but also fosters a meaningful connection with their families, as parents are encouraged to explore the joys of reading alongside their children.

Additionally, the library serves as a conducive space for students to complete their homework and utilize various educational resources, including textbooks, dictionaries, and encyclopedias, further supporting their academic journey.

At the middle and high school levels, EFIP encourages the use of e-readers to access French and international literature required as part of the French program. These readings aim to broaden students’ culture and nurture their curiosity and imagination.

Reading Skills: Foundation of Academic Excellence

Reading skills are fundamental to academic success, and it is our school’s mission to ensure that every child can read fluently and confidently. At EFIP, we actively participate in a variety of initiatives, such as awards, competitions, partnerships, and promotional events, all designed to foster a love for reading and sustain a lifelong appreciation for literature. By engaging students in these enriching activities, we aim to celebrate and nurture reading champions who excel in their literacy skills. These efforts not only enhance individual reading abilities but also strengthen our educational community by sharing the joy and benefits of reading with all.

A Hub of Intellectual Exchange

EFIP Library is not only a treasure trove of knowledge but also a vibrant space for exhibitions, competitions, and intellectual engagement. It serves as a dynamic venue for meetings with esteemed guests and discussions among elected students, fostering a rich cultural and educational exchange. This multifunctional area supports the school’s commitment to developing well-rounded individuals through diverse learning experiences. Whether it’s for a quiet study session or a lively debate, the EFIP Library is a central hub for both students and the academic community.

The extensive collection of books in our library has been made available to students through the generous support of the French Embassy in Kosovo.

This collaboration has enriched our shelves with an array of French literature, featuring works from some of the most celebrated authors for children and teenagers. Among these are the enchanting tales of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the adventurous stories by Jules Verne, and the magical worlds created by Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian. These literary masterpieces not only enhance the linguistic skills of our students but also open doors to the rich cultural heritage of France, providing them with invaluable resources for both educational and personal growth.
