Accreditation

Our school provides a program accredited by both the French Ministry of National Education and the Kosovar Ministry of Education.

French Ministry of Education

EFIP has been accredited by the French Ministry of Education since 2019, initially for select classes and later extended to the entire primary level. The accreditation was renewed in June 2023 for two years. Following a recent inspection in January 2025, a positive recommendation for a five-year renewal is expected in May 2025. The school is also seeking accreditation for middle and high school levels. In the meantime, the use of CNED-developed materials ensures that the teaching is aligned with French educational standards.

This accreditation ensures that the school’s teaching methods and overall educational quality adhere to French national standards. It also allows students to receive a diploma recognized by the French government, which can facilitate their further education in France, in Europe, or in other French schools worldwide. The school is regularly inspected to maintain this accreditation and demonstrate compliance with these standards.

Kosovo Ministry of Education and Science

EFIP is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kosovo, ensuring compliance with national education standards. The Kosovar accreditation was obtained in May 2022, for primary and middle schools, with renewal applications to be submitted as required. EFIP has initiated the application for high school accreditation and is awaiting the next steps in this process.

National Center for Distance Education (CNED)

For middle and high school students, EFIP follows the official French curriculum through CNED (Centre National d’Enseignement à Distance). This enables students to receive high-quality education remotely, ensuring continuity with the French academic system and leading to the French Baccalaureate.

The Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE)

As part of the AEFE (Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger) network, EFIP provides students with the opportunity to seamlessly transfer to over 567 French schools in 138 countries. This network ensures academic continuity and guarantees that students receive an internationally recognized education.
